One person makes this app. If something is broken or confusing, writing in genuinely helps.

Getting in touch

Email Luke@faultycompassstudio.com. It is read by a person, so please say which phone you are using and what happened.

Deleting your data

Almost everything the app knows is stored only on your phone — your challenge, pantry, collection, settings and diet. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it, and you can also clear it from your device’s app settings at any time without uninstalling.

If you agreed to share anonymous statistics, there is a second thing to delete, and two ways to do it:

  • In the app. Open the Profile screen and turn Share how it goes off. That stops any further collection and resets the identifier the statistics were attached to, so what was already collected can no longer be connected to your device.
  • By email. Write to Luke@faultycompassstudio.com asking us to delete your analytics data, and we will do it. You do not need an account, and you do not need to explain why.

There is no account to delete, because the app does not have accounts.

Common questions

I missed a day. Have I ruined it?

No. Missing a day costs you some of the cards you have drafted, chosen at random, and the run carries on. Your starter cards and your pantry slot are never taken.

Can I change my diet or allergies mid-challenge?

You can change them between runs, once every thirty days. Your existing collection is kept and shown as its own era rather than being deleted or merged.

I lost my collection.

The app stores everything on the device only, so uninstalling, clearing app data or moving phone will lose it. There is no cloud backup yet. If this happened to you, please write in anyway — it is useful to know.

How do I stop the app collecting statistics?

Profile screen, turn off Share how it goes. See the privacy policy for exactly what is and is not collected.

Reporting something serious

If you have found a security problem, or something that looks like it exposes other people’s information, please email Luke@faultycompassstudio.com and say so in the subject line. It will be dealt with before anything else.
